Thembeka Mngqithi has a Bachelors Degree in Commerce from the University of Natal, now known as UKZN and Post Graduate Certificate in Taxation from UNISA. She is currently an Associate General Accountant (AGA)SA from The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA)

Thembeka started her career as an Educator and then served her articles with KPMG. She has a 30 years’ experience, at senior levels, in both private and public sectors where she practised financial management, internal auditing and risk management. She is currently the Chief Audit Executive in the KZN Department of Health.
